Key Moments of the Company

1976: The Société Gilbert, company of general mechanics, was founded in Montauban, by Mr Jean-Claude GILBERT
1978: Beginning of manufacturing products and entrance in the equipment market
1980: Manufacturing of the first moulds for rubber
1981: Manufacturing of moulds for thermoplastic materials and orientation to the mechanics of precision
1983: Beginning of producing thermoplastic pieces and to work for the surgical and paramedical industry
1987: Change of status; the Société Gilbert becomes GILBERT SA and moves to Reyniès
1989: Beginning of the thermoplastic injection
1996: Quality Process
2000: Beginning of the tridimensionnal laser machining
2004: Access to new skills thanks to the modernisation of several softwares and the entrance of new employees
